Christian Laettner had one of the most successful college basketball careers in NCAA history. The only player in history to start four consecutive NCAA Final Fours, Laettner led Duke to consecutive NCAA titles in 1991 and 1992. The all-time NCAA Tournament career scoring leader with 407 points and 1992 Naismith College Player of the Year Award Winner, Laettner was the only college basketball player selected to the 1992 U.S. Men’s Olympic Basketball Team, better known as “The Dream Team,” which won the gold medal at the Barcelona Summer Games. After being drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 1992 NBA Draft, Christian went on to enjoy a successful 15-year NBA career, which included a 1997 NBA All-Star selection.
