This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) is intended to help you better understand how Thuzio (“Thuzio,” the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, stores, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit our website, www.thuzio.com (the “Website”), inquire about our services, create an account, use our product or services (including virtual and live events), sponsorship, custom events, request or obtain tickets or offers, or otherwise interact with us (together, the “Services”). This Policy applies to both on-line and off-line information gathering and disclosure practices.

1. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends upon how you interact with us through the Website. We offer some services and content that do not require you to register for an account or provide any personal information to us. For example, you can learn more about us, look up upcoming events and meetings, and read materials without providing personal information.

Information you give us. We do not collect any personally identifiable information about you unless you voluntarily submit such information to us. We collect personally identifiable information (“Personal Data”) about you that you provide to us while using our Services. Personal Data includes any and all information that can identify you as a specific individual, including, without limitation, your name, title, physical address, phone number, credit card number, e-mail address, linkedin profile, the pages you visit , and your log-in name, IP address, mobile carrier, or data services provider and any other information you provide to us.

When you create an account with us, we will also require you to create a password. You can help protect your personally identifiable information by using a combination of letters, numbers and characters in your password, changing your password often, using a secure web browser, and signing off our Website when you are finished with its use. Google Analytics. We have implemented certain Google Analytics Advertising Features. We then can create audiences based on users’ behavior on the Website to send them relevant advertising. Other Internet Technology. In addition to Google Analytics, we use other technology, such as software, pixel tags and web beacons, which are invisible graphics on a web page or email that are programmed to collect non-personally identifiable information about your use of the Website.

We do not currently permit third parties to direct ads to you on our sites and applications but third parties may do so on other sites to which we publish content. You may choose not to receive or control targeted advertising from many ad networks and partners, data exchanges, and marketing analytics and other digital advertising and marketing service providers by clicking here.

Social Media. We collect information from social media platforms and networks that you use in connection with our Website or mobile application, or that share or allow you to share information with us, such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram. Children. We require an individual to be at least eighteen (18) years old to be a user on our Website. This Website is not directed toward children under 13 years of age, nor do we knowingly collect information about children under 13. If we find out you are under 13 years of age, we will immediately, upon notice, cancel your account and delete all of your information. 2. Protecting Your Personal Data

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure correct use of Personal Data, we will employ reasonable and current Internet security methods and technologies. To protect credit card transactions while in transit, Thuzio currently uses Secure Socket Layer technology to encrypt Personal Data and all processing is done through Stripe. No method of transmitting information over the Internet, or storing data electronically, is 100% secure, however, and Thuzio therefore cannot provide a guaranty of absolute security.

If you purchase certain services for others, we will collect the names of the others as provided by you. You are fully responsible for ensuring that you have the right to provide such information, and Thuzio will not be under any obligations to make any inquiries or otherwise take action to confirm your right to do so. By providing any Personal Data of another person/individual or company, you represent that you have all necessary authority and/or have obtained all necessary consents from such person to enable us to collect, use and disclose such Personal Data as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use the Information We Collect

In general, we use personal and other information collected through the Website to fulfill your requests for services, contact you, customize content, and improve the design and performance of the Website and our Services. More specifically, we use your personal and other information to do things like:

We also use your Personal Information to run retargeting campaigns through social media platforms like Facebook, and other third parties.

4. Sharing Your Personal Data

Thuzio does not share your Personal Data, except as disclosed in this statement or in your Membership Agreement, unless we receive your consent. Thuzio may share your Personal Data with its subsidiaries and with third parties as described in the categories below:

Certain Services: In order to provide you with certain services, we may share your Personal Data with our subsidiaries or third party partners. Third-party partners consist of companies with which Thuzio has contracted in order to provide you with services or products including but not limited to events of all types. By attending a Thuzio event, Members and any guests and attendees agree that by attending a Thuzio Event or Partner Event, Members, guests and attendees hereby consent that their attendee information may be shared with Thuzio partners or third parties.

Thuzio’s Agents: Some of the operations we perform require us to hire other companies to help us with these tasks. For example, Thuzio hires companies to help us handle mail and e-mail (including sending and delivering packages, postal mail and e-mail) analyze the data we collect, market our products and services, handle credit card transactions and provide customer service. The companies we employ to help us with these tasks have access to Personal Data to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.

Future Business Transfers: Our business is constantly changing. As part of that process, Thuzio may sell or buy other companies, and Personal Data may be transferred as part of these transactions. It is also possible that Thuzio, or substantially all of its assets, may be acquired by another company, whether by merger, sale of assets or otherwise, and Personal Data may be transferred as part of such a transaction.

5. Cookies (& Persistent Local Data)

To serve you faster and with better quality, we use “cookie” technology and also allow third parties to use cookies on our website Services. Cookies are small bits of code, usually stored on a user’s computer hard drive or device, which enable a website to “personalize” itself for each user by remembering information about the user’s visit to the web site.
